An adaptive machine independently controls individual products through a non-sequential production process. Another word for it is B&R’s ACOPOStrak and it’s changing the industry.

This new generation of production machinery is readily adaptable to constant size and format changes. In addition, it is reconfigurable to radical and unforeseen requirements through corresponding equipment changes, such as replacing a welding module with a forming module. View the adaptive machine operating at the IMTS show here.

AT IMTS 2018, CNC Solutions collaborated with Lyndex Nikken to introduce the 10DER System, integrated with B&R automation technology to offset the industry’s chronic labor shortage. This 6 Axis modular CNC machine tending platform is designed for job shops with high mix, low volume production. Designed for ease of use, the 10DER requires almost no robotic programming for setup or operation, integrated safety, swing arm mounted widescreen HMI and modular design with the flexibility to add rotary tables as needed. Watch it in action from the show floor here.
